We recommend that you let our concierge book your round-trip airport shuttles from either the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (in Hayden) or the Denver International Airport. We utilize two great local shuttle services, Storm Mountain Express and Alpine Taxi, and you will receive an exclusive discount for either one if you choose to book your shuttles through us.

A subsidiary of Christy Sports, Door 2 Door will deliver, fit, and adjust your ski rental equipment right in the comfort of your Porches townhome! With full access to Christy's resources, D2D offers an extensive range of rental clothing, retail accessories, and tuning services. You will be taken care of from the moment you receive your ski rentals until you return them at the end of your trip. D2D’s hours are 7:00am to 9:00pm, and they will be glad to make any tuning adjustments you may need or to swap out any equipment that is not to your liking. Please fill out the information below as fully as you can. We will then reserve your ski & snowboard rentals and promptly send you an email confirmation.

Please indicate below the time of day you prefer your ski rentals to be delivered. To be safe, we recommend that your delivery appointment be no less than 3 hours after you arrive in Hayden or no less than 6 hours after you arrive in Denver, to give you plenty of time to get to The Porches and settle in before D2D's rental technicians arrive.

Christy Sports

If you would like to instead rent your skis and ski equipment from one of the shops at the base of the gondola, we recommend Christy Sports. They offer a variety of ski clothing and accessories along with full rental and tuning options. Please note that Christy Sports does not offer a discount to Porches guests.

Also, please select “Yes” or “No” indicating whether you would like to opt for the Damage Waiver Fee of $2/day/person. This insurance covers all normal wear and tear on your ski rentals, but does not cover loss, theft, or gross negligence. If you would like insurance only for certain members of your group, please indicate this in the Additional Comments box below.

Lift Tickets

As a guest of The Porches, you are eligible for an exclusive 10% discount on any lift tickets of 3 days or longer. Also, one child 12 years of age or younger gets to ski free for every adult lift ticket of 5 days or longer that you purchase at regular price. In order to ensure that you receive these special rates, you must book your lift tickets through The Porches' concierge by submitting the information below at least 30 days before your arrival.

We will purchase your lift tickets and then promptly send you an email confirmation. As you fill out the fields below, keep in mind that 3-to-4-day passes allow for one day off, and 5-or-more-day passes allow for two days off. Please be as thorough as possible so that our concierge will be able to purchase the correct lift tickets for your group.*

Due to the number of details involved in booking ski instruction, our concierge will be unable to reserve lessons for you. Please contact Steamboat Ski School directly at (800) 299-5017 for all your ski instruction needs. Massage and Spa Services

Located at the Sheraton, just up the hill from The Porches, Rocky Mountain Day Spa is a full-service spa that offers massages, facials, aromatherapy, manicures, pedicures, body wraps, acupuncture, and much more. Hot Springs

After an invigorating day of skiing, there's no better way to unwind than to relax at Strawberry Park Hot Springs. Enjoy the epic mountain scenery as you take a shuttle tour to the famous mineral springs, where you can soak in the therapeutic thermal pools with temperatures up to 105 degrees. If you will have a sturdy 4WD vehicle, you can drive up to Strawberry Park on your own; otherwise you are required to use a shuttle service due to the challenging mountain terrain. If you would like us to reserve a shuttle, just specify the size of your group and the preferred time of day for your hot springs visit. Both shared and private tours are available. Tours leave every 90 minutes from 10:30am to 9:00pm, and you are guaranteed a soak time of at least 75 minutes. Please note that after dark, no one under 18 is admitted and clothing is optional!

Backcountry Snowcat Skiing

Would you like to explore the deep, untouched stashes of powder in our area? Steamboat's ski area averages over 330 inches of snow per year while Buffalo Pass averages a whopping 500 inches, making for a spectacular backcountry powder skiing experience! Steamboat Powdercats offers unforgettable full-day guided backcountry snowcat tours around Buffalo Pass, including a light breakfast, a fully catered lunch, and door-to-door shuttle service. Please note that snowcat skiing is only recommended for intermediate skiers and above.

An extensive trail system high up on Rabbit Ears Pass is a snowmobiler's dream come true! When you glide over the champagne powder of these sheltered mountain meadows, you'll think you're in heaven. Please note that riders must be 16 years or older to operate their own snowmobile.

Sleigh Ride Dinners

Imagine yourself gliding through the mountainous open spaces surrounding Steamboat in a horse-drawn sleigh. Nestled under a warm blanket, feel the exhilaration of clean, fresh winter air. After your sleigh ride, you'll be eager to enjoy a sizzling steak or another mouth-watering dinner choice and enjoy western-themed family entertainment. Hot Air Balloon Rides

Start your morning with a continental breakfast and a glass of champagne as you prepare to ride high above the Yampa Valley, taking in the wonderful sights of the Flat Tops and all of the snow-covered peaks that surround Steamboat. There is nothing quite like the aerial view of Mt. Werner you will experience from the vantage point of a hot air balloon!

We work with several child care providers who offer outstanding service and will allow you to have a night away from the kids to enjoy Steamboat.
