Market Update – November 2017
The Steamboat real estate market has had a great year. In 2017, listings sold are up 14% from 2016 with 965 listings sold and a sales volume of $543 million. Which is up a total of 19% from 2016.
The mountain area continues to be the most popular in Steamboat and sales in this area account for 45.08% of the dollar volume and 37.09% of the number of transactions in October of this year. The proximity to the base area and downtown makes this a coveted place to own a home in Steamboat. As demand continues to rise and the number of listings are decreasing, it’s time to think about purchasing.
