Summertime is upon us…
The flowers are blooming, the hills are green, and the river is flowing! Summer has officially descended upon the Yampa Valley and anticipation is in the air for our favorite summer events. As the days get longer we are soaking up as much sunshine as we can and these family friendly events are a great way to get summer started!

Can’t Miss Events
Yampa River Festival
June 4th through 7th
Friends of the Yampa is kicking off summer by taking the Yampa River Festival virtual! This local favorite event will now have participants film their chosen event challenge(s) and submit the video for the chance to win prizes! This virtual event will be a fun and interactive way for people to showcase their athletic prowess while allowing viewers to experience this event from near and far.
First Friday Artwalk
June 5th
First Friday Artwalk returns June 5th! Take a stroll through downtown art galleries to see the work of both local and visiting artists in a variety of art mediums. This fun and free event is the perfect way to spend a summer evening.
Farmer’s Market
June 6th
What better way to stock up for the week or pick up a gift than at the Steamboat Farmer’s Market! Every Saturday, head downtown and walk the aisles filled with stalls of produce, baked goods, art, and so much more. Getting hungry? Be sure to check out one of the vendors selling prepared foods from crepes to gyros.
