Yampa River Festival:
June 1st & 2nd
Presented by Friends of the Yampa, the Yampa River Festival is a favorite local event that raises awareness for the Yampa River. On Saturday, events run all day at Fetcher Pond and downtown at Charlie’s Hole near the Bud Werner Memorial Library. You won’t want to miss the Crazy River Dog or Tube Rodeo events. On Sunday, a classic kayaking slalom takes place at Rich Weiss Park.
Y.E.S Golf Tournament
June 5th
The 31st Annual Y.E.S Golf Tournament at Rolling Stone Ranch Golf Club is a wonderful way to get involved and donate to the local community. To date, this tournament has raised over $100,000 for scholarships for Routt County high school graduating seniors.
First Friday Artwalk
June 7th
A Steamboat local favorite on the first Friday of each month, head downtown for a self-guided tour of some of Steamboat’s art galleries and participating restaurants. Each stop along the tour showcases art from local artists and serves wine and other refreshments. While there is no charge for this event, donations are accepted to allow galleries to continue their support for this wonderful Steamboat tradition.
Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup
June 13th thru 15th
The 31st Annual Rocky Mountain Mustang Round Up brings together over 450 mustang owners from the Rocky Mountain Mustang clubs. Kicking off the festivities on Friday is the auto cross, a timed race, in the Meadows Parking lot. On Saturday, stroll through downtown as these beautiful cars line Lincoln Ave.
Wildflower Hike
June 15th
Join Yampatika for a guided wildflower hike. Beginning at the US Forest Service building, this hike will take you to Silver Creek. Be sure to wear layers and pack plenty of snacks and water!
Reds, Whites, & Brews in the Boat
June 22nd
A great way to kick off summer, Reds, Whites, & Brews is an unlimited tasting event featuring a variety of wineries and breweries. Listen to live music, sample some wonderful craft brew, and stroll through the Farmer’s Market to grab a bite to eat. A perfect way to spend a summer afternoon.
Coca Cola’s Movies on the Mountain ft. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
June 29th
A fantastic event for families, Movies on the Mountain has become a favorite weekly event. Each week, gather the family and head to the mountain for their weekly screening. Be sure to bring chairs, blankets, and snacks.
