Summer is still holding strong in Steamboat Springs…
For those of you that don’t know, September is one of the best months of the year in Steamboat, though we can say that about every month. As the weather starts to get slightly cooler and the crowds begin to thin, there is no better time to enjoy the trails and downtown streets. There is also no better time for some of Steamboat’s signature events; whether you want to dance the evening away, enjoy a cold craft beer, or sample some of our restaurant’s award-winning food.

End of Summer Jam ft. Billy Strings
September 1st
Stroll down to Howelsen Hill for the annual End of Summer Jam, part of the Keepin’ It Free summer concert series, for what is sure to be one heck of a show.
Rocky Mountain Bull Bash
September 1st
End the summer season with a bang! Romick Arena puts on the Rocky Mountain Bull Bash featuring over 40 top ranked world champion cowboys, riding some of the toughest bulls in the sport.
OktoberWest
September 13th & 14th
You read that right… celebrate OktoberFest, Steamboat style at OktoberWest this fall! Kick off the festivities on Friday night with a beer stroll around downtown Steamboat. The festivities really get going on Saturday with a beer garden and beef cook-off in gondola square. Featuring over 40 craft breweries and local chefs, this event has become a local favorite over its 11-year run.
Gimme Shelter Gala
September 14th
Join the Routt County Humane Society for this wonderful fundraising event! Local artists design one of a kind dog and cat sculptures that are showcased around Steamboat through the summer before being auctioned off at this event. Don’t miss out on a night of music, food, drinks, and giving back to the community.
Barn to Brewery
September 15th
Experience local food and brew all in one spot at Butcherknife Brewery! 5 local chefs prepare appetizers to pair with Butcherknife’s award winning craft beer. The proceeds from this event go to the Community Ag Alliance food programs.
Restaurant Week
September 27th thru October 6th
There is no better time to experience Steamboat’s amazing dining options than during Restaurant Week. Not only do restaurants continue to serve their best dishes, they also pull out all the stops with new menu items just for the week. Bonus: many restaurants are also offering great deals this week.
