Interest in high-end homes continues to soar.
The Steamboat Today recently reported that on the heels of a strong first quarter for real estate dollar volume in Steamboat Springs, there are ongoing signs of interest in high-end properties in the Steamboat area. From May 1st to 12th, the Routt County Regional Building Department reports issuing permits for three new million dollar properties.
The first quarter of 2017 in Routt County recorded 247 sales (a 25% increase from 2016) in all categories of real estate combined yielding $169 million (a 62% increase from 2016), the highest first-quarter dollar volume on record.
