Interest in high-end homes continues to soar.
The Steamboat Today recently reported that on the heels of a strong first quarter for real estate dollar volume in Steamboat Springs, there are ongoing signs of interest in high-end properties in the Steamboat area. From May 1st to 12th, the Routt County Regional Building Department reports issuing permits for three new million dollar properties.
The first quarter of 2017 in Routt County recorded 247 sales (a 25% increase from 2016) in all categories of real estate combined yielding $169 million (a 62% increase from 2016), the highest first-quarter dollar volume on record.
“As the luxury market continues to rise, now is an ideal time to purchase at The Porches. It’s a great option especially for people who are looking to buy a second or third residence. Not only do we offer whole ownership, we also have fractional ownership available for those that are only looking to spend 6 weeks to 6 months of time in a multi-million-dollar home at a fraction of the price,” says Beth Postemski. “6 weeks of ownership is a great way to enter the market, using the ownership as a stepping stone to further ownership options.” Postemski also points out that it’s an awesome value for a 5,000-square foot home for under $298,000.
