Supporting local causes in true Steamboat fashion…

Tour de Steamboat is excited to announce that their event will still be happening this year! Though it may look a little different than years past, this is still an excellent opportunity to get outside and explore the Yampa Valley on your bicycle, while supporting incredible beneficiaries.

Over a decade ago, three local bike enthusiasts started the Tour de Steamboat as a way to encourage our community of bike riders, of all levels, to get out and have fun. From the beginning it has been important that the Tour de Steamboat not only brings the community together for a ride, but also give back to local organizations and charities. The proceeds from this event are split evenly between the beneficiaries.

Tour de Steamboat details:

July 18th thru August 2nd

While usually the Tour de Steamboat is a 116-mile ride followed by a celebration BBQ, this year will be a little different. Registered participants will select a day to ride between July 18th and August 2nd and is open to participants riding in Steamboat or in their hometowns. For those riding in Steamboat, there are pre-set route options, or you can ride your own.

Registered participants will receive an event packet in the mail with fun promotion items as well as automatically entered to win some great prizes!

Be sure to take pictures along the way and map your route to share with the Tour de Steamboat community on Facebook and Instagram.
